The material that I think is best for this type of presentation is a mix of research paper and newspaper articles.It is the reader's skill and memory that will determine if they remember what you said. This is a highly valuable skill to have and one that can be taught. At a dojo if the teacher is well-versed in this method of teaching, it is a highly effective way to get feedback.Also, always use whiteboard examples, pictures and diagrams when you are writing your paper. Sometimes students will forget a move when they first see it, but after seeing it on a piece of paper all of a sudden their brain gets it.By combining the two topics into a well-written paper and choosing the best topic choices, your martial arts club will receive the most out of its curriculum. If you do not have the time to write a lengthy research paper that is valuable as an overview or an outline, then choose one of the other topics.
